Unique preparation method
Gelatine and aspic products are indisputably credence products that are among the oldest of all traditionally-prepared sliced cold meats. Paintings from as far back as the 16th century show gelatine products prepared from pig's heads.
Today, Gold Meat / Delitrade regularly makes over 30 different recipes; in each case, the preparation method is unique. Firstly, because the meat constituents, with which the various preparations are made, are entirely prepared/produced under our own supervision. Secondly, because we still (as in the past) use very high percentages of meat in the preparations.
Finally, because the seasoning mixtures are still prepared according to the traditional recipes.
In addition to a number of products that appeal to a wide public in various countries, Gold Meat / Delitrade produces niche specialties:
- regional products that cater to the eating habits and taste preferences specific to individual ‘local’ markets
- wellness products
- seasonal products
The various recipes are commercialised as catered products as well as deli-counter or pre-packaged products.
